Theology

Theology of the Body & Health

Introduces students to Christian understandings of the human person, physical and emotional health, relationships, virtue, and the dignity of the body as a gift from God.

Reasoning

Logic

Students learn deductive and inductive reasoning, argument structure, validity, common fallacies, rhetoric, and how to evaluate claims in conversation, media, and academic work.

Philosophy

Western Philosophy

Introduces students to thinkers such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Aquinas, Hobbes, Locke, Hume, Marx, and others while exploring truth, freedom, justice, and human nature.

Ethics

Ethics

Examines virtue, natural law, duty, consequences, and moral reasoning, then applies those ideas to issues such as bioethics, technology, work, and civic life.

Social Science

Human Behavior / Psychology

Studies human behavior, motivation, development, conformity, and group dynamics through topics such as Pavlov’s conditioning experiments, Harlow’s rhesus monkey studies, Milgram, Asch, Bandura, and the Stanford Prison Experiment.

Technology

AI, Machine Learning & Robotics

Introduces students to coding, machine learning concepts, robotics, generative AI, automation, ethics, and the strengths and limitations of emerging technologies.

Science

Earth Science & Astronomy

Covers the structure of the earth, geology, weather, astronomy, and the order of the created world as an entry point into the sciences.

Communication

Speech

Builds confidence in oral communication through informative, persuasive, and occasional ceremonial speaking, emphasizing clarity, poise, and thoughtful engagement.

Literature & Writing
